Mission Statement
Our purpose is to promote interest and encouragement for the Artist by

• offering instruction through demonstration

• furnishing exhibit locations

• giving sources of information

• providing a meeting place for artists

• providing venues for selling art

Member Benefits

Besides attending great meetings with fabulous artist demonstrations you will receive a newsletter filled with timely and important information. Members, for a nominal fee, can display their artwork on the TVAL web site or if you have your own website you can have a link to your site placed on the TVAL site. History of the Temecula Valley Art League (TVAL)

The Art League was founded in 1977 as a non-profit organization to serve the beginning and professional artist. Artists working in all media, including photography, watercolor, acrylic, oil, sculpture, pencil, and pastel are welcome to join or attend meetings. The League members may have their work displayed free of hanging charges in the Murrieta Branch of the Temecula Valley Bank, La Masters Jewelry Store, as well as other jewelry stores, and some framing shops around town.

Meetings

The League meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month September through June of each year. Click here to see the calendar. Meetings are held at the Mary Phillips Senior Center located at 41845 6th Street, Old Town Temecula, California 92692. All meetings start at 7:00 pm and are open to the public. Each meeting features a well known artist who gives a demonstration in their area of expertise and selects the award winners of the evening. Members are encouraged to bring finished works for critique by fellow members and/or to participate in selecting People's Choice award.

Membership

There are different levels of annual membership

• Active Member: $30.00

• Family Member Artist: $20.00

• Additional Family Members: $10.00

• Lifetime Single Membership: $325.00

• Lifetime Family Membership: $375.00

Sponsorship

There are three levels of sponsorship.  All include the monthly newsletter which has notices of art receptions, shows and other community art connections.  Think Globally, buy locally. Sponsorship also includes acknowledgement in the membership directory plus the ad benefits listed below:

• Sponsor: $30.00 - Business Card Size Ad (1/8 page) in monthly newsletter

• Support: $60.00 - Business Ad (1/4 page)

• Patron: $100.00 - Business Ad (1/4 page), Plus sponsorship acknowledgement on this website.  People love to support businesses that support the Arts. 

To join or be a sponsor, simply attend one of the meetings and register or send the fee along with your name, address, and phone number. Sponsors with a business, please send us two business cards.
